The city revealed through ordinary mornings, familiar streets, neighborhood rituals, and countless walks that ask nothing of you except that you keep showing up.
When you first move somewhere, you remember the landmarks.
Years later, you remember the corner café. The Muni arriving just as you reach the stop. The neighborhood where you always wander a little slower. The streets that quietly become part of who you are.
That's the San Francisco I wanted to paint.
